The main approach of the Yin Residence is to let the calming atmosphere of stone and the warm texture of wood play their magic in the generous interior area. The designers have chosen neutral and mild colors in different materials to bring an elegant yet chic look throughout the space. From the dark grey mirror that ushers you into the space, to the stone tiles with brown layers on the vertical walls, every corner of this apartment is a peaceful scene for busy minds to find solace.
What sets the Yin Residence apart is its visual impression. The space is presented with a dark-grey tone of the marble floor and titanium plated bronze columns that extend from the entrance hall to the living areas, creating layers of lifestyles within the space. This design choice adds depth and sophistication to the overall aesthetic.
The open kitchen, dining room, and living room are well connected, allowing for a wide and bright visual experience. Whether sitting on the leather couch or preparing a meal in the kitchen, one can easily find peace of mind in this thoughtfully designed space.
The Yin Residence was a collaborative effort by the talented design team, including David Hsiao and Pallas Wang. Their attention to detail and commitment to creating a sophisticated living realm is evident in every aspect of this design.
The Yin Residence has been recognized for its excellence in design, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill. The Yin Residence stands as a testament to the fusion of art, science, design, and technology, contributing to an improved quality of life for its inhabitants.
